Raising Miss Ellie

In the past two and a half years, I've written six novels that comprise the Chaos Series. Before beginning a seventh one, I decided to write something totally unrelated. Something more down to Earth, so to speak. The result is Raising Miss Ellie, a 31,000 word novella about an elderly farmer who catches a young runaway stealing eggs from her henhouse. As she learns about the people from which he escaped, she decides to help him hide from them. However, as she discovers more about this mysterious child and his abilities, she begins to wonder what it is he is running from ... and why. Little does she know that her simple act of kindness will change the Universe forever.
